Essential Duties/Responsibilities:  

Creates a detailed, finite production schedule by work center across the global business circuit and plant sitesEnsures a frozen schedule one week in advanceUnderstands, makes decisions and can communicate utilizing ATP terminologyEnsures the availability of raw materials, semi-finished and finished parts to fulfill internal and external demandMonitors adherence to production schedule and works closely with operations daily to resolve any impact of manufacturing running ahead or behindIdentifies near-term capacity constraints and provide resolution recommendations for systemic issues to Master Planner and EVSMIdentifies resolution and schedule adjustment, as necessary, due to high scrap rate and/or requirements associated with remakes and rework of productionIdentify any service or production risks of near-term orders due to changes in replenishment plan or inbound receiptsConducts “what-if” scenario analysis to identify the early impact of planned and unplanned schedule changes including but not limited to demand or supply changes, or unplanned adjustments to schedulesDocuments current process and seek feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives to improve the process.Manage and execute key performance indicators including but not limited to on-time start, overdue planned orders, and resolution of exception messagesValidate data including but not limited to lead times, dates in system, and capacities drive corrective actionsResponsible for employee recruitment and development, assessing and providing training needs as appropriate of the production planning staff.Provides motivation, coaching and direction to all direct reports to ensure they reach their full potentialConducts performance reviews, setting objectives in line with the Global Delivery Leader and the Manufacturing strategy and goalsGives appropriate feedback on performance and deals with any performance related issues with the assistance of HR.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Education/Certifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering or other associated field of study2-5 years’ experience in supply chain managementSupply chain/operations certification a plus, such as APICS, CPIM or lean.

Required Minimum Qualifications
