SSHE Lead – Deepwater Projects (FPSO & Subsea)

Role Summary
The SSHE Lead will be responsible for overseeing all Safety, Security, Health, and Environmental (SSHE) aspects across the projects. This includes ensuring compliance with clients’ standards, managing risk assessments, and driving a strong safety culture across engineering and execution phases.

Key Responsibilities Lead SSHE planning and implementation across all project phases. Interface with PTTEP and contractors to ensure alignment with SSHE expectations. Conduct and oversee HAZID, HAZOP, SIMOPS, and risk assessments. Develop and monitor project-specific SSHE KPIs and performance metrics. Ensure compliance with Malaysian regulatory requirements and international standards. Support incident investigations and root cause analysis. Promote proactive safety culture through training, audits, and leadership engagement. Requirements Minimum 20 years of Oil & Gas experience, with at least 5 years in a lead or managerial SSHE role on: Deepwater developments Floating facilities (FPSO/FPU/FLNG/FSO) Subsea systems in water depths >400m Strong knowledge of international SSHE standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001, API RP). Experience working in a PMC or EPCM environment is preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, HSE Lead Auditor) are advantageous.
