Job Overview/Summary: SRH Technical Manager is responsible for the overall management of SRH clinic teams and activities, providing both operational and technical oversight. This includes planning and implementing clinic and community-based SRH activities, ensuring quality of care, capacity building, coordination with stakeholders, and ensuring effective monitoring and evaluation. The role will also coordinate closely with internal IRC departments and represent IRC externally as needed.
Major Responsibilities:
Program Planning & Implementation
Responsible in the development of detailed program log frames, work plans, monitoring tools to ensure high quality program implementation throughout the project cycle and ensure the program is achieving expected outputs.Oversight, implement and monitor sexual and reproductive health care activities at WGWC centers and community levels in Rakhine.Implement sexual and reproductive health care activities in SRH supported sites through SRH Mobile teams and community health teamsBuild Capacity of SRH Medical Doctors, SRH Nurse, Community Health Officer and Community team membersParticipate in project monitoring and evaluation.Coordinate with stake holders for strengthening of SRHR services in IDP camps area and conflicted affected communities.Implementation of sexual and reproductive health care clinics at WGWC centers in targeted IDP camps and villages
Prepare monthly work plan of SRH teams, Community Health Teams in Rakhine to cover targeted IDP camps and villages regularly and oversight the SRH implementation of partnersEstablishes SRH clinical care and community mobilization according to SRH guidelines and protocols.Oversight organizing of referral of life-threatening emergency cases to secondary and tertiary referral health facilities in area.Give technical support on SRH Medical Doctors and Nurses for quality SRH clinical care services and technical support on community health teams (Community health officers, health promoters, peer educators and volunteers) for community mobilization and technical support for partner organizationIn collaboration with other members of the Rakhine health program team, participate in the design and implementation of formative assessments and baseline studies in order to identify health risks, priorities and practices among the community.Manage day-to-day logistics, administration, and personnel activities (including any local contracted personnel/daily labor) in accordance with national laws.Provide a monthly report to Program Manager and Program Coordinator-Rakhine.Capacity building of SRH Medical Doctors, SRH Nurse, Community Health Officer and Community team members
Supervise SRH team and SRH community health teams in their day-to-day activities and provide feedback to ensure quality medical care.Facilitate in planning and arrangement of technical capacity building trainings and assist Capacity Building Team, Health Manager and Program Coordinator-Rakhine to organize capacity building training sessions for SRH teams, Community Health Teams and Partner Organizations.Support and provide on the job training to SRH clinic medical doctors and nurses as needed.Organize and conduct monthly team meetings and participate in project team meetings.Coordination with Stakeholders, Local Authorities and other health Partners

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
M.B., B.S. degree required. Master’s degree or postgraduate diploma in public health or a related field is preferable. Female candidates are encouraged to apply.Work Experience:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in SRH program management in emergency or post-conflict settings. Experience in communicable disease control and emergency medical response is an advantage.Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:
Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent planning, assessment, and reporting abilities.Ability to travel and work in remote coastal regions.Sound understanding of medical ethics and community health education.Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.Language:
Good written and spoken English. Knowledge of Rakhine is desirable.Myanmar nationals with relevant skills sets and proven experience of working at international level are strongly encouraged.
