Roles and Responsibilities:
Demonstrate proven knowledge on some of the following domains:Information Security Governance and Risk ManagementAccess ControlVulnerability and PenetrationNetwork SecurityApplication SecurityCryptographyOperations SecurityBusiness Continuity and Disaster Recovery PlanningLegal, Regulations, Investigations and CompliancePhysical and Environmental SecurityCloud SecurityActs as cybersecurity expert for cloud migration projects/programsKnowledge of network architecture concepts including topology, protocols, components and the application of Defense-In-Depth principlesCollaborating with Enterprise Architecture and Security Authority organizations as needed.Provides extensive, in-depth, technical consultation to the clients, partners, and IT Management to develop plans and directions to assure the integration of corporate business area requirements.Conduct security risk assessment on new and existing Northern Trust’s third parties' business partners.Ability to handle multiple competing priorities.Well versed on emerging risks, technologies, and best practices in third-party risk management.Foster and implement enhancements to improve third-party risk management capabilities.Demonstrate ability to work well in both an individual contributor and team capacity.Skills Preferred:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration along with strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong knowledge of security architecture patterns, requirements, and security controls.Strong knowledge of security controls like Authentication, Authorization, Data Security, IAMKnowledge of network architecture concepts including topology, protocols, firewalls, load balancer, IPS/IDS, WAF, App Proxy, SIEM, and componentsStrong knowledge of threat modeling frameworks and methodologies.Technical experience across multiple Cyber Security domains.Knowledge of Cyber Security frameworks and risk management methodologies.Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline and at least ten or more years of experience in the field of Technology Security. Professional certifications (such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP or similar) is a plus
