Job Title: Senior Web Developer (Angular)

About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Web Developer with expertise in Python and Angular to help build, maintain, and scale modern web applications. You will be instrumental in leading full-stack development efforts, ensuring code quality, and guiding architectural decisions. If you're passionate about clean code, scalable design, and modern web technologies, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using Angular framework. Build and integrate RESTful APIs using FastAPI. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the stack. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement. Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness.


Required Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development. Strong hands-on experience with Angular (v10+), TypeScript, and related frontend tooling. Advanced proficiency in Python, preferably with Django, FastAPI, or Flask. Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices. Proficient in PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling. Strong understanding of security best practices and scalable architecture.


Nice to Have

Experience with Python web development frameworks: Flask or Django Familiarity with authentication and network protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect Working knowledge of Node.js and Apache HTTP Server Experience with Git, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience in system-level debugging, performance profiling, and backend optimization
 

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $92,000 - $112,000 annually.  Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level.  Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
