Sr. Vocational Rehab CoordinatorPRIMARY PURPOSE: To coordinate Vocational Rehabilitation program functions and activities as directed by departmental management.ARE YOU AN IDEAL CANDIDATE? Completes all vocational rehabilitation processing of referrals, reports, plans and closures per Comp Management health Systems (CHS)/BWC policy.Coordinates caseload coverage for vacations, illness, and leave of absence (LOA).Monitors company assignments and staffing issues.Coordinates special projects ensuring compliance with benchmarks and deadlines.Works closely with other departments ensuring client needs, incentives, and contractual requirements are being met.Coordinates departmental training needs.Reviews policy and procedural changes and address with staff.Manages caseload for assigned clients following program guidelines.Completes audits as required.Provides tracking reports to upper management; maintains updated staffing lists and employer assignment applications.Participates in meetings as required by management.Provides assistance to other CHS departments with respect to the injured worker's vocational rehabilitation plan services.Conducts all claim staffing with vocational rehabilitation coordinators, vocational rehabilitation case managers (VRCM), disability management coordinator (DMC), and other pertinent claim parties as needed.Reviews and addresses plans to assure that services requested by VRCM are ethical, efficient, return-to-work (RTW) focused, and comply with Chapter 4 of the MCO Policy Reference Guide.Assists Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist and Vocational Rehabilitation Assistant as needed.Assists with reports to management as needed.QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of vocational rehabilitation, medical or workers compensation claims procedures and state legal and regulatory requirementsGood customer service skillsGood oral and written communication skillsPC literate, including Microsoft Office productsExcellent interpersonal skillsGood organizational and time management skillsGood problem solving skillsGood analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple and changing prioritiesAbility to work in a team environment or independently with little supervisionAbility to meet or exceed Performance CompetenciesEducation & LicensingHigh School diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred. CDMS or coding certification preferred.
Experience
Two (2) years of experience and proficiency with workers compensation, legal and regulatory MCO requirements for medical and vocational case management required or equivalent combination of education and experience.

As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
