Sr. UX Product Designer
UX Product Designer (Hybrid – Fort Worth, TX)

Contract Duration: 5 months (with potential for extension)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Onsite Tuesday through Thursday

We are seeking a UX Product Designer to join a forward-thinking team that is transforming how software and digital solutions are delivered. As part of this transformation, the UX organization is aligning with a portfolio and product-based culture, and we are looking for a creative, empathetic, and experienced designer to help shape intuitive, user-centered experiences.

About the Role

As a member of the User Experience (UX) and Digital Platform team within IT, you will collaborate across disciplines to simplify complex applications into elegant, user-friendly solutions. You’ll be responsible for conceptualizing, prototyping, and delivering a wide range of UX deliverables, including personas, user flows, research plans, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups.

Key ResponsibilitiesCollaboration & StrategyPartner with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to define user stories and UX deliverables.Influence product decisions through UX best practices, design principles, and research insights.Work closely with developers to ensure efficient and effective implementation of designs.Present design concepts and research findings to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and outstanding work.Design ExecutionDesign visual styles, interfaces, and interaction flows for web and mobile applications.Contribute to and maintain consistency with established design systems.Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and documentation to support development and testing.Advocate for user needs while aligning with business goals and technical constraints.User ResearchDevelop and execute research strategies, usability test plans, and interview scripts.Conduct heuristic evaluations, user interviews, and usability testing (remote and in-person).Analyze and synthesize research findings to inform design decisions and iterate on solutions.Required Skills & Qualifications5+ years of experience in UX design, interaction design, or a related field.Proficiency in Figma and modern design/prototyping tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud).Strong understanding of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) principles.Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with developers.Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative research methods.Experience designing for responsive, adaptive, and accessible interfaces.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in HCI, Human Factors, Computer Science, Visual Design, Library Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Experience with remote usability testing tools and platforms.Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
