Shopbop is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead our ecommerce platform initiatives. In this role, you wil drive the evolution of F2 subsidiaries frameworks, including Front End and API Frameworks that enable web and app feature development across multiple teams. You will establish standardized processes for delivering operational and customer data to both technical teams and business stakeholders. A key focus will be implementing framework components that support Search Engine and Generative AI Optimization, while exploring opportunities to streamline feature delivery using AI throughout the software development lifecycle. Working closely with Senior and Principal Engineers, you will gather data and design scalable framework solutions that support multiple subsidiary properties. Your responsibilities include implementing mechanisms to ensure successful adoption by feature teams and conducting thorough analysis to determine which framework components should be developed internally versus leveraging Amazon or third-party solutions. As a strategic leader, you will own technical products and cross-functional initiatives, proactively identifying areas where you can have the greatest impact. Your work will be instrumental in shaping Shopbop's technical infrastructure and enhancing our customers' experience, while setting standards for framework development and implementation across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have experience incorporating AI into product/software development processes, excellent verbal and written communication, and superb product/project management skills. They will have a well-rounded technical background as well as a history of leading large initiatives end-to-end. They will own team efforts to coordinate and unify road maps and technical direction across multiple complex systems. They will also identify opportunities to converge overlapping technical efforts, and drive the long-term strategy. Maturity, high level judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent, and leadership are essential to success.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
