Shopbop is seeking an innovative and experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to spearhead our F2 Subs Personalization initiatives. In this role, you will drive engagement and revenue growth through personalization features, including AI-powered recommendation systems, 'You May Also Like' widgets, and future innovations that leverage customer data. Working closely with Tech, Product, UX, and Marketing teams, you will orchestrate personalized marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, SMS, and push notifications. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing A/B tests, evolving data collection and segmentation solutions, and ensuring consistent customer experiences both on and off our site. You will analyze customer data, report performance metrics to leadership, and identify opportunities for optimization and growth. As a strategic leader, you will own technical products and cross-functional initiatives, proactively identifying areas where you can have the greatest impact. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in technical program management, strong understanding of AI applications in e-commerce, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders. Your work will directly influence Shopbop's customer experience, driving innovation in personalized shopping journeys and contributing to the company's growth and success.
The ideal candidate will have experience incorporating AI into product/software development processes, excellent verbal and written communication, and superb product/project management skills. They will have a well-rounded technical background as well as a history of leading large initiatives end-to-end. They will own team efforts to coordinate and unify road maps and technical direction across multiple complex systems. They will also identify opportunities to converge overlapping technical efforts, and drive the long-term strategy. Maturity, high level judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent, and leadership are essential to success.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
