Sr. Supply Chain Manager , OTS Supply Chain
Description Amazon’s Ops Tech Solutions Supply Chain (OTS-SC) plans, sources, makes and delivers IT equipment necessary to empower Amazon’s Worldwide Stores Business. OTS-SC responsibilities include Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Scheduling, Capital planning, Risk management, Sourcing, Order processing, Warehousing, Assembly, Provisioning, Transportation, Repair, Replacement and Disposal of IT equipment. We are seeking a results-oriented, analytical, and customer-obsessed Sr. Supply Chain Manager to join the IT Equipment Planning team. This role is pivotal in solving cross-functional supply chain challenges that span planning, procurement, fulfillment, inventory, and operations execution for IT equipment across Amazon's global network. This role will serve as a key partner to senior Supply Chain leadership and operate at the intersection of planning and execution. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, is comfortable leading without authority, and is adept at influencing multiple stakeholder teams across planning, operations, finance, and technology. The role will be responsible for leading end-to-end program execution from the planning lens – including developing mechanisms, influencing business process changes, and driving cross-cutting initiatives that deliver measurable improvements to support the broader supply chain strategy. Key job responsibilities - Lead strategic supply chain initiatives that span multiple teams and domains with a focus on the IT equipment lifecycle. - Partner with stakeholders to scope business problems, define planning mechanisms, and drive execution to completion. - Develop scalable mechanisms to standardize key supply chain workflows - Work directly with SC leadership to define strategic planning roadmaps and drive prioritization of high-impact initiatives. Translate strategy into planning mechanisms and influence cross-functional alignment on objectives. - Own the development and continuous improvement of executive business reviews and drive execution. - Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for supply chain improvements. Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of program or project management experience - 5+ years of supply chain experience - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership - Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field - Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc. - Knowledge of SQL at an intermediate level, including: compile queries, subqueries, aggregation/grouping, data modification, etc. Preferred Qualifications - 4+ years of driving process improvements experience - Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field - Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
