Sr. Supply Chain Analyst – Import, Export and Logistics

You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world. **A Day in the Life** The Supply Chain Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of products from origin to customer, guided by our Global Quality Strategy, which is rooted in the Medtronic Mission and our Quality Policy. This position is responsible for coordinating import-export processes and managing domestic logistics, with a focus on regulatory compliance, inventory accuracy, and timely deliveries. **Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.** + Importation and Delivery + Responsible for import, export and logistics activities ensuring alignment with Medtronic Philippines (MDT PH) Country and Supply Chain Management objectives and overall strategies. + Helps Medtronic Philippines Operating Units and supports in the achievement of their goals and targets. + Works with Deliver and Trade COEs to enact initiatives and policies; represents MDT Phils in such cases as necessary. + Monitor freight forwarder performance, SLAs and metrics to ensure fast and efficient transit from source to destination in keeping with agreed SLAs and KPIs. + Monitor customs clearing process and verifies and confirms customs duties and taxes computation for entry filings. + Collaborates with COEs, Finance, Commercial teams and other stakeholders where necessary to resolve issues related to freight and trade operations + Determines and confirms delivery addresses to forwarders, send pre-alerts, relevant documents and notices to customers and other stakeholders. + Domestic delivery booking and monitoring; coordination with freight forwarders, marketing, customer service, service/repair and sales teams for local logistics. + Ensure PODs (proof of delivery) are provided in a timely manner. + Maintains records and data of shipments on file and in the system and produces the required reports as needed. + Returns and Re-export + Works with relevant forwarders to book re-exports. + Works with relevant stakeholders to execute re-export and returns of products, demo units, service and repair processes, including proper communication to the shipping site and relevant parties. + Ensures proper documentation for the re-export of products including equipment repairs and calibrations. + Enterprise excellence + Initiate and implement improvement projects in the local deliver-and-trade operations. + Ensures MDT Phils is compliant with local government rules and regulations, as well as with the Medtronic code of conduct. + Back office and Administrative + Monitors PO balances and creates PO when needed for logistics vendors. + Checks, validates and submits logistics billing to finance for payment processing. + Provides support for inter-company billing as required by finance. + Maintains local freight SOPs **Required Knowledge and Experience:** + Bachelor’s degree required, prefer graduate of logistic custom administration. Can be from any industry + Minimum of 3 years’ focused experience in ImpEx and logistics operations + At least 5 years’ experience working in supply chain management field + Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel + Experience in working on ERP systems **Nice to Have:** + Inventory management, customer service, order management and supply planning experience an added advantage but not required + Advanced level on Microsoft Excel + Experienced working with SAP systems + Experience with work process automation an advantage + Experience in working within a global, multi-national, multi-stakeholder environment + Some out of office hours work may be required + Some travel (domestic and international) may be required + Detail oriented – ability to process high volume of shipments accurately for extended periods with high degrees of accuracy + Able to maintain records and files for easy access and retrieval + Analytical and clear thinking – able to translate complex situations into simple, articulate portions for effective action + Customer focus – agile and adaptable to customer needs (internal or external) + Self-starter – can work with minimal supervision + High degree of responsibility and accountability to assigned tasks; driven to execute completely and consistently + Collaborative mindset; breaks down silos - works collaboratively with peers, leaders, customers and vendors **Physical Job Requirements** The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.  **Benefits & Compensation** **Medtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits Package** A commitment to our employees lives at the core of our values.
