Meet the Team

As part of the CPO’s Strategy & Planning team, you'll join a dynamic group responsible for delivering some of Cisco’s most impactful strategic programs. Reporting to the Director of Strategy & Planning, you'll work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the organization to align priorities and deliver results. This team thrives on collaboration, innovation, and execution—creating a strong foundation for Cisco’s success. You’ll play a pivotal role in managing complex programs, driving alignment, and ensuring that Cisco achieves its key business objectives.



Your Impact

The Strategy & Planning Manager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of Product refresh and migration programs, ensuring seamless transitions for customers and internal stakeholders. This role requires strong project management skills, a deep understanding of Cisco's product lifecycle, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver successful migration outcomes. 



Your Responsibilities will Include
Program Management:Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for product refresh and migrations, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely completion.Provide regular updates to leadership on program status, key metrics, and outcomes.Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with sales, engineering, customer success, and technical support teams to align migration strategies with customer needs.Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders during the migration process, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.Process Improvement:Identify opportunities to streamline migration processes and improve efficiency.Develop and document best practices for future product refresh and migration programs.


Minimum Required Qualifications4+ years’ experience as a Manager or Lead driving initiatives within operations-focused environments6+ years’ experience managing strategic programs or business planning initiativesStrong knowledge of product lifecycles, including End-of-Sale (EoS) and End-of-Life (EoL) processes.Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, or PMP certification).Experience leading go-to-market and/or product development operations and programsMust be willing and able to work Pacific Time Zone business hours.Preferred QualificationExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Bachelor’s degree or equivalentIntermediate / sophisticated knowledge of Box highly usefulExperience with Cisco migration tools and platforms.Familiarity with customer success and account management practices.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
