. Grants Accrual Rate Calculation: The statistician will collaborate with the existing accounting support team to calculate and develop accurate grants accrual rates.
. Survey Development and Analysis: The statistician will be responsible for designing surveys, analyzing the collected data, and calculating the accrual rates to be applied to the grants' Unliquidated Obligations (UDO) balances. Design and analyze surveys, calculate accrual rates for UDO balances, perform statistical modeling
. Present grants accrual processes to the auditors and support AmeriCorps in answering questions or providing justifications to the auditors (e.g., accrual methods or approach used for the processes).
. Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Statistical Data Science or Statistics)
. 7-10 years advanced data analysis experience (preferably federal financial datasets)
. Proficiency in Excel (advanced), SQL, Power BI, or other relevant data analysis tools
. Probability theory, statistical inference, grants management, accrual rate calculations
. Apply statistical methods to analyze data and develop predictive models
. Survey design and analysis skills
. Strong critical thinking and communication skills
. Experience preparing audit-ready documentation
. Ability to learn and apply new analytical and financial knowledge
. Preferable: Statistical modeling expertise (IBNR estimation, accrual modeling, sampling, forecasting)
. Preferable: Data reconciliation experience across federal financial data sources

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $100,800.00 - $198,400.00.
