Know more about the Division Here: Inari Medical (https://www.inarimedical.com/) You will need to live within commuting distance to our 6001 Oak Canyon STE 100, Irvine, CA office. You will need to be in the office 5 days a week. **What You Will Do** + Design, develop, and evaluate components and systems for medical devices. + Translate complex user needs into simple system designs and specifications. + Conduct advanced prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting. + Guide cross-functional teams in technology exploration and implementation. + Drive competitive strategies using market and clinical insights. + Ensure compliance with medical device standards and regulatory requirements. + Mentor team members and contribute to R&D processes and documentation. + Partner with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Marketing, and Project Management teams to deliver high-quality results. + Lead process improvements, prototype development, and technical expertise in product releases. + Inspire and mentor colleagues while promoting collaboration across teams. **What you need** **_Required Qualifications:_** + Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline + 6+ years of work experience in R&D new product development **_Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired):_** **​** + Experience in developing and optimizing complex designs for mechanical / electro-mechanical assemblies incorporating DFM principles + Experience in creating engineering drawings, models, applying GD&T and CAE tools to optimize the design + In-depth knowledge of materials, manufacturing and processing methods and technologies to support complex product development. + Ability to communicate complex plans and technical information to team members Health benefits include: Medical and prescription drug insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, critical illness insurance, accident insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, personalized healthcare support, wellbeing program and tobacco cessation program.
