Sr. Staff Accountant
Description Are you ready to bring your accounting expertise to a growing manufacturing company? We’re seeking a driven Senior Staff Accountant or Sr. Accountant to join our dynamic team in Chino, California. This is your chance to play a key role in maintaining the financial health and operational excellence of a fast-paced, hands-on work environment. Recent graduates are welcome or experienced Sr. Accountant with 5+ years of experience. Responsibilities: • Prepare and analyze journal entries to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to support month-end and year-end closing processes. • Generate financial statements and reports for management review, providing insights into company performance. • Oversee manufacturing cost accounting, including standard cost analysis and variance tracking. • Implement and maintain cost accounting systems to improve operational efficiency. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support. • Utilize Microsoft Excel tools, such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables, to streamline data analysis and reporting. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations while adhering to company policies. • Monitor and report on key financial metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. • Participate in team-building activities to foster a positive and inclusive work environment. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is required. • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like VLOOKUP and pivot tables. • Expertise in journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and financial statement preparation. • Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting and standard cost analysis. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and age groups. • Adaptable and hands-on approach to problem-solving in a dynamic workplace. • Comfortable collaborating in a team-oriented environment that values camaraderie and inclusivity.
