Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our team in Irvine, California. This role involves managing key accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting month-end close activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account reconciliation, general ledger management, and financial systems. Responsibilities: • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with regulations. • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and address discrepancies in a timely manner. • Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain accuracy and integrity of cash accounts. • Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all entries are correctly posted. • Prepare journal entries and adjustments as part of monthly and quarterly close processes. • Support month-end close activities by compiling and analyzing financial data. • Utilize financial systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP to manage accounting operations. • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. • Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial reporting and processes. Requirements • Proven experience in account reconciliation and financial reporting. • Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entries. • Proficiency in financial systems, including NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Experience with month-end close processes and balance sheet reconciliations. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies. • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
