Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

To accomplish operational activities of the customs department in order to offer a world class level of service and support relating to customs entries, declarations and duty management for all imports.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Ensure the accurate and timely submission of all customs entries and reports

 

Maximise savings through SLA agreements and efficient duty management controls

 

Ensure Data Integrity between customs system and SAP is maintained at a high level

 

Provide processes / procedures to support any changes made by Customs

 

Develop new processes / procedures, present to management team and implement

 

Maximise availability by ensuring efficient keying and/or release of inbound stock within SLA

 

Responsible for all customs declarations, per month duty and VAT payments                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

Key Relationships:

 

 External partners such as freight forwarders and custom brokers.

 

 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

 

University degree or equivalent education required. Broad and deep theoretical understanding of functional area (Argentina Customs procedures). Minimum 2 years-experience in job or job function. Data Analytics knowledge (Power BI - intermediate-advanced). English (advanced).

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

2 years experience
