Specifically, the Role will:

Serve as a contact for SSG events. These events include large industry events (like the Consumer Electronics Show), Lenovo-owned events, and smaller industry and vertical events.Develop and implement event strategies to achieve goals and objectivesCreate marketing communications plan (social, email, etc.) to support eventsCollaborate with cross-functional, team members and agencies to manage global eventsManage a budget for event spending with the agency and in-houseMonitor marketplace conditions, competitive information and maintain a high level of expertise within the event marketing spaceDevelop plans to capture leads at events as well as nurturing leads after the eventManage weekly updates, including event pre- and post-communications for key eventsTrack and monitor event-generated revenue and continuously optimize event performance and refinementManage processes and alliance partnership relationshipsWork cross-functionally to develop presentation content and supporting collateral for various events

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or another related field required3+ years’ experience planning and implementing events1-2 years marketing communications experienceMust be able to travel approx. 20%Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Outook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to meet strict deadlinesExperience working in an account management role at a media/creative agency (or overseeing an agency relationship from client side)Strong project/budget management skillsTeam player, willing to assist on tasks small or largePassion for executing programs of the highest quality possibleStrong interpersonal abilities to work with all marketing disciplines and teams as well as external vendorsPassion for executing programs of the highest quality possible
