Role Overview: As a Solutions Architect in AWS MEGS, you'll design cloud architectures for our key strategic customers using AWS services. You'll combine technical expertise with business acumen to drive AWS adoption and deliver measurable business outcomes. You'll be instrumental in helping customers navigate their digital transformation journey, influencing creative content makers, theme park builders, and major broadcasters. You'll work with leading global companies to accelerate their cloud journey while helping shape AWS's strategy in the MEGS segment. This role offers the opportunity to influence how an entire industry approaches cloud adoption and digital transformation. Key job responsibilities • Partner with customers to design scalable, resilient cloud solutions • Lead technical discussions with senior stakeholders (Developers and Architects to CXOs) • Drive AWS adoption and growth across assigned MEGS accounts • Advocate best practices for cloud migration and implementation • Connect technical solutions to business and creative values • Develop and execute strategies to build mind-share within MEGS customers • Collaborate with account managers to accelerate customer cloud adoption About the team AWS values diverse experiences. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent - 10+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience - Experience architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions in enterprise customers - Deep technical knowledge of cloud architecture - Strong business acumen - Excellence in communication and customer engagement - Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities - Experience influencing senior technical decision-makers - Track record of delivering complex technical solutions - Ability to translate customer needs into architectural solutions Preferred Qualifications - Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering) - 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience - 3+ years of experience with common AI/ML and GenAI solutions, data lakes and data analytics solutions - Experience in migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
