Summary
The primary responsibility of this position is to support the PBEG (physics-based environment generator) product as a Senior Software Engineer. Job duties include design, development, deployment, integration, and support of the product into a multitude of fighter aircraft, helicopter, and UAV applications, as well as guiding and mentoring junior engineers. The position focuses on new product feature design and development utilizing the latest 3D game engine technologies and concepts. Candidate should be highly adaptable with very strong analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design the software and advance the product while adhering to customer requirements.

Development and integration of PBEG into the Training System
Familiarity with all phases of Software Development Cycle
Experience with developing real-time applications
Make recommendations to improve the product based on technical experience
Apply sound engineering principles to contribute to innovative solutions
Communicate status/issues along with solutions/recommendations to lead engineers
Work independently and with the team to complete assigned tasks and meet schedule commitments
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Strong C++ skills
Strong analytical skills
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
8 to 10 years of relevant experience
Understanding of mathematics associated with 3D physics/graphics (linear algebra, matrix manipulation)
Development experience using multiple operating system concepts – multi-threading, events, semaphores, memory management, and system configuration
Solid understanding of Object Oriented languages and Design (OOD) concepts
Ability to contribute as a member of a small team in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills

Preferred Skills
Experience with PhysX, Recast, GWEN, Granny 3D, OpenGL, and Google Protobuf libraries
Experience with continuous integration development processes
Experience developing physics, AI, animation, tools, networking, or graphics systems
Experience with Perforce and the Atlassian suite (primarily Jira, Crucible, and Confluence)
Experience with Git, Jenkins, Artifactory
Experience developing and delivering video games
Security Responsibilities

All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
