We own the IT applications and infrastructure supporting the Comcast Business Public Sector LOB serving federal and state agencies. We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Enterprise Lead Developer to lead the design, strategy, and implementation of our ServiceNow platform across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ServiceNow architecture, with the ability to develop scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that align with the organization's IT and business strategies. In this role, you will have exposure to the entire IT ecosystem supporting our new Comcast Business Public Sector Line of Business (LOB) and ensuring this ecosystem is secure, reliable, resilient, and supports efficient business processes with purpose-built customer centric applications. You will be part of the IT team that will set the IT vision and roadmap for the greenfield eco-system and determine how we work to effectively architect, develop, deploy and support the Public Sector IT applications and Infrastructure.
Service Now Platform Development
As a Senior ServiceNow Developer specializing in Customer Order Management (COM), you will lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions primarily leveraging SOMT and OMT modules, with supplemental use of ITSM. Your role will be critical in enabling efficient order intake, processing, fulfillment, and lifecycle management aligned with business objectives. You will collaborate closely with business and technical teams to implement scalable, integrated systems that streamline the full sales and service order cycle. Establish a structured approach to supporting infrastructure change management in the NextGen platform using ITSM
ServiceNow COM, SOMT & OMT Architecture & Development:
Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions built on the ServiceNow SOMT and OMT modules for comprehensive customer order management covering order intake, validation, task creation, modification, and fulfillment processes.
Lead data migration activities using transform maps and Data Import Sets order management data into ServiceNow as a high priority task.
Enterprise Integration:
Architect and build integrations between ServiceNow and middleware platforms like Mulesoft, Encompass, and Connexus, using JSON-based APIs for data validation, billing coordination, and order fulfillment.
Develop and maintain server-side scripting such as Business Rules, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs, and Workflow Scripts to support reliable and scalable integration points.
Technical Leadership & Innovation
Lead and mentor development teams on SOMT, OMT, and ITSM to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions aligned with business goals.
Collaborate with architects and stakeholders for architectural reviews and governance
Promote AI adoption to accelerate development, automate testing, and enhance workflows.
Foster a culture of innovation to continuously evolve ServiceNow capabilities and boost productivity.
Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering/information systems or similar technical area. (Master’s degree is a plus)
5-7+ years of experience in IT service management, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, including Flow Designer and Script Includes
Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level ServiceNow solutions, including OMT, ITSM, COM, TNI, and other ServiceNow modules.
Experience with integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise systems, such as ERP, CRM, and third-party tools.
2+ years of MSO/Telecommunications experience with a good blend of functional and technical skills in enterprise OSS/BSS systems
Preferred experience with AI solutions including AI powered code generation, review, analysis, and software development lifecycle
Preferred Certifications
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Core Responsibilities
Collaborates with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements. Conducts analysis to determine integration needs.
Designs new software and working with Saas ServiceNow development, supports applications under development and customizes current applications. Develops software update process for existing applications. Assists in the roll-out of software releases.
Trains junior Software Development Engineers on internally developed software applications.

Successfully pass the Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) security process or other clearances as needed
