Here’s what the opportunity supported through our TGS Talent Acquisition Team requires:
The Sr. Scrum Master is responsible for ensuring Scrum Masters and Agile teams live and act in accordance with Agile values and principles. They also function as Jr. coaches and mentors. They provide support, guidance, and coaching,ensuring that engagements are delivered consistently using TEKsystems and Agile best practices. They coordinate withthe team and TEKsystems Delivery Management, coordinating scope, schedule, and work to achieve the best possible execution outcomes for our projects for both internal and external stakeholders. Participate in the recruitment process as and when required.
Essential Functions:
· Be a strong servant leader and serve for client engagement, ensuring client satisfaction and delivery
outcome.
· Remove impediments and escalating issues as appropriate.
· Evangelize the Agile Mindset and Principles
· Guide the team on the adoption of the chosen Agile framework for the engagement.
· Expert in project initiation with the customer with the agile team and ready to facilitate Team
alignment workshop, Way of Working session to form team consensus during DD&A phase.
· Collaborates with technical subject matter experts to translate architectural guidance and non-
functional requirements into practical delivery plans.
· Foster an environment where the team is self-organizing, and the project goals are clear.
· Mentor Product Owners and/or Business Analysts for effective Product Backlog management.
· Coach on Agile principles and long-term product planning in an empirical environment
· Facilitate team events and meetings as requested or needed.
· Facilitate close cooperation, communication, and teamwork across the board.
· Facilitate PI planning, Release planning around business objective, scope, and schedule.
· Coordinates cross-team dependencies and maintains governance.
· Enable team building and navigating internal team dynamics.
· Protect the team from outside distractions.
· Maintain overall transparency.
· Ensure the existence and accuracy of information radiators.
· Review SOW, SLAs and organize internal and external stakeholder’s expectations around value.
· Collect metrics, create reports on Agile OKRs/KPIs along with the risk and mitigation strategy
Minimum Education/Abilities/Skills: Required Education and/or Experience.
· 5-8+ years of relevant IT and consulting experience in the application development space
· 4+ years of scrum Master, agile project manager, technical project manager experience.
· Experience working on complex projects with multiple streams using Scrum, Kanban, SAFe etc.
· Understanding of microservices, APIs, CI/CD, Test automation, cloud, and DevOps practices
· Proficiency in Planning, Estimation, Dependencies management, Impediment removal, Risk mitigation, and Stakeholder communication
· Excellent in facilitation, conflict resolution, coach, and lead team by example without authority · Proficient in Jira, Azure DevOps, or other requirement and project management tools
· Certified as a Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, SSM, etc.) in good standing.
· Foundation level certification in AWS, GCP, Azure is a plus.
· Certified Release Train Engineer (RTE) and Project Management Professional (PMP)is a plus. Requisite Abilities and/or Skills
· Strong inter-personal skills and demonstrated leadership skills.
· In depth understanding of Outsourcing Services
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Analysis and problem solving, strong analytical skills.
· Excellent time management and organizational skills
· Flexible, able to oversee multiple initiatives concurrently in a diversified environment.

Special Requirements:
· Travel within Canada the US and India, may need to travel up to 25%, as needed; average 10%.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $87000.00 - $130500.00/yr.
We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
