Job Description:
Job Summary
The Boyd Group is seeking an experienced and seasoned Senior Scrum Master to lead and elevate our Agile practices in Elmhurst, IL. As a Senior Scrum Master, you will bring a wealth of experience in Scrum and Agile methodologies, guiding multiple teams to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing Agile best practices while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Job Responsibilities
Leadership and Mentorship:● Lead and mentor multiple Scrum Teams, providing guidance and support to Scrum Masters and team members.● Act as a thought leader, promoting best practices and innovative approaches to Agile project management.
Strategic Planning:● Collaborate with leadership to align Agile practices with organizational goals and strategic initiatives.● Contribute to the development and execution of a strategic roadmap for Agile transformation.
Scrum Facilitation and Coaching:● Facilitate advanced Agile ceremonies for multiple teams, including program-level ceremonies for large-scale initiatives.● Coach and guide Scrum Masters and teams on advanced Agile practices and principles.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:● Drive continuous improvement initiatives across teams and the organization.● Promote a culture of innovation by exploring and introducing new Agile and Lean practices.
Stakeholder Collaboration:● Collaborate with stakeholders, Product Owners, and business leaders to ensure alignment of priorities and objectives.● Communicate effectively with senior management on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Metrics and Reporting:● Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of Agile practices.● Provide regular, insightful reports to leadership on team performance and areas for improvement.
Enterprise Agile Transformation:● Contribute to the overall Agile transformation strategy and play a key role in its successful implementation.● Lead training sessions and workshops to promote Agile awareness and understanding across the organization.
Jira Administration:
● Assist with implementing best Agile practices and managing tasks in Jira● Work with the team to ensure Jira environment is organized and assist IT Leadership in making KPI driven decisions
Qualifications:● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.● Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification.● Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Scrum Master, with a focus on leading multiple teams.● In-depth understanding of Agile principles and advanced Scrum practices.● Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.● Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.● Experience in driving enterprise-level Agile transformations.● Ability to analyze complex issues and provide innovative solutions.● Experience in , Jira, Confluence, SmartSheets, MS Project & others

Compensation Details:
$120,000 - $140,000 / Year
Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.
Supplemental Pay:
This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
