MAIN FUNCTION: Sr Sales Support Specialists play a vital role within our sales team, reporting to the Director of Sales Analytics. This is a mid-level position accountable for providing best-in-class customer service to accounts and supporting the sales organization through training, analytics, and process support. Ultimately, this role is to ensure that our sales team functions effectively and meets the company’s and our customers' objectives. Meant to help the sales team focus on selling, thereby contributing significantly to the company’s revenue goals. This position is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as well as for keeping processes for key sales functions, project management, account development, budgeting, and phase-in support. As the subject matter expert, this position will provide support to all Flavor locations as needed.

Coordinating as needed within the global organization to meet customer expectations.Utilize available systems and databases to support sales and the broader business (LEAD, BI, Salesforce, etc.)Participate in regular business reviews with account managersProvide coverage for the team when traveling or out of the officeCoordinate and assist with sales-related activities cross-functionally Engage in customer-facing meetings and events, as neededProvide support and dashboarding for phase-in entry and business case reviews Collect, analyze, and distill data into actionable reports and dashboardsAssist with onboarding and training of account managersSupport the sales team and leadership in executing the budgeting processAssist with sales manager inquiries into territory performance Assisting with publishing monthly performance dataSupport of the RFI or RFP review processUnderstanding of processes that take a formula from development, through pricing, and upload to the systemMaintains understanding of manufacturing capabilities and supply chain processesActively seeks opportunities for continuous improvement and helps facilitate changeWorks proactively to avoid challengesApproach changing, challenging situations with a focus on customer satisfaction and ADM’s best interestDevelops a clear understanding and working knowledge of ADM products and servicesUnderstands and has strict adherence to corporate compliance policies & safety systems & programsEnsures that individual goals are aligned with company goalsWorks to attain positive, cooperative relationships with internal colleagues across divisions & responsibilitiesEffectively use communication channels for proper coordination within the office & other locationsPortrays a positive image of the company and self when interacting with internal and external stakeholdersPerform other duties as requiredREQUIREMENTS:Minimum of a 2-year college degree (Associate's Degree) in business management, project management, or business-related degree (i.e., economics, finance, accounting), supplemented with a minimum of four to seven (4-7) years’ experience in sales or project management. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Understanding of sales performance metrics Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with both internal & external customers. The ability to hear and speak clearly; read, comprehend, and communicate orally and in writing; and to effectively communicate in person, by telephone, and in written form.Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with basic mathematics skillsWorking knowledge of a CRM system such as SalesforceDemonstrated negotiation and interpersonal skillsProven ability to assess business and financial risk and exercise sound judgement in making decisions.
