We are seeking a **Sr. Sales Operations Manager** to lead the design and execution of MSA’s Sales Planning engine, with a dedicated focus on our rapidly evolving SMB motion. As a key member of the Sales Planning Center of Excellence (CoE), you will architect scalable, data-driven workflows that optimize quota methodologies, segmentation models, and coverage designs. You will translate complex planning requirements into repeatable processes that drive clarity, accountability, and business growth. **Responsibilities**
+ Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the Microsoft Advertising ecosystem, including business strategy, sales motions, and supporting systems, tools, data architecture, and operational processes.
+ Translate strategic objectives into actionable segmentation, quota, and coverage solutions - partnering with Finance, Sales Leadership, and operations teams to ensure they are data-driven, scalable, and aligned with evolving priorities.
+ Shape the development of standardized tools and design operational solutions that are scalable, supportable, compliant, and trusted by business partners.
+ Lead the end-to-end cyclical sales planning process, managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment to ensure seamless execution and high-quality outcomes.
+ Design and implement workflows and frameworks that drive clarity, consistency, and governance across planning cycles, while maintaining flexibility needed for diverse markets.
+ Apply AI and automation to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and deliver faster, more accurate outputs that enable the business to scale efficiently.
+ Establish best practices for and engage with external partners in a compliant, collaborative manner to support Sales Planning processes.

**Qualifications**
**Required/minimum qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Accounting, Information Systems, Social Sciences or related field AND 5+ years experience in sales operations, project management, analytics, compensation, sales performance analytics, finance/business analyst, process improvement, business development, consulting, finance, marketing, or a related field
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 4+ years of experience in ANY combination of the following: lead, drive, execute sales process enablement, sales excellence, sales compensation, or sales operations programs
+ 3+ years of practical experience in designing and executing scalable operational processes and workflows that improve efficiency and deliver measurable results.
**Additional or preferred qualifications**
+ Master's Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Design, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Accounting, Information Systems, Social Sciences, or related field AND 8+ years experience in sales operations, project management, analytics, compensation, sales performance analytics, finance/business analyst, process improvement, business development, consulting, finance, marketing, or a related field.
+ 4+ years of expertise in sales planning, including segmentation, quota methodology, coverage design, and capacity modeling, with experience in SMB or high-volume sales environments and familiarity with digital advertising ecosystems.
+ Practical experience influencing the design and adoption of standardized tools, systems, or platforms in matrixed organizations, leveraging AI, automation, and workflow optimization to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
+ Solid communication and change leadership skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts, engage stakeholders at all levels, and drive adoption of new processes and technologies across global teams.
+ Highly organized and execution-focused, adept at managing multiple priorities in high-pressure environments while maintaining a focus on quality, accuracy, and business impact.
Sales Operations IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
