About the role:

The Sr. Sales Compensation Analyst will be working on all related activities for the Clinical Diagnostics Division (CDD) global Sales Organization and demonstrate a strong understanding of sales compensation practices, policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will need to maintain a high level of attention to details and protect confidential data the role has access to.

Responsibilities may include commissions calculations and payments, special sales incentives management, monthly reporting, program tracking, performance dashboards, assisting with quota and territory planning and other related activities, as needed.

In this role, you will partner with the Division Sales Compensation Manager to ensure the tactical execution of initiatives and projects required to drive the sales organization towards meeting the criteria for success. You will also be required to develop new analytic capabilities while working closely with other functions to drive reporting improvement, efficiency and automation.

To be successful, you will be encouraged to work cross-functionally with multiples functions in the Division, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, HR, IT, etc. The ideal candidate will have strong discernment, combined with excellent analytical and technical skills. Strong process orientation and the ability to influence other persons in a cross-functional environment are also required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for all sales compensation related activities for the CDD Sales Organization, including but not limited to compensation plan creation and distribution, quarterly & annual commission calculations, territory alignments, determination of individual quotas, period performance reviews, reporting and analysis.

Educate and train the sales team on how their compensation plans work and understand how commissions are calculated for each component of variable compensation.

Calculate monthly commissions accruals and review them with Managers, HR and Finance business partners.

Design and distribute individual commissions statements for each Sales Participant following each calculation cycle.

Assist Manager with all investigations related to exceptions and ensure compliance with existing processes.

Develop and maintain sales compensation forecasts.

Work with peers and business partners to develop and implement sales performance and compensation related metrics and reports.

Ensure data exchanged are accurate and can be used to build specific analytics.

Build, update, and manage Power BI dashboards and reports that enable sales team members and their managers to monitor sales metrics.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or Accounting. Master's degree or MBA in a relevant field might be an asset.

Previous experience in a sales compensation role.

Outstanding skills with Excel, Cognos, SQL and Power BI.

Ability to handle complex data sets.

Knowledge of SalesForce CRM a plus.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to think creatively.

Desire to drive process improvements through automation.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Full English professional proficiency required and other European languages an advantage (like German or French).
