Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Sr. Requirements Engineer with DOORS experience to join our team! In this role you will get to perform system engineering activities necessary for defining and updating the Agency Operations System Engineering Plan (SEP).What You'll Be Doing:Tailor systems engineering technical plans and processes required to deliver documented plans and briefings on updates across enabling programs and acquisition activities.Define and develop mission critical products and processes required to integrate and inter-operate interdependent and dependent mission systems designed to evolve missile defense capabilities.Lead engineering activities necessary to define and document functional, performance and interface requirements using various approaches to pursue achievement of delivered architecture designs with an implemented modular, open systems approach for product design in system architectures that allow major system components to be severable for incremental additions, removal, or replaced over the system’s life-cycle.Provide Systems Engineering support to Programs Design Reviews to include; performing facilities design and verification, requirements allocation and document via trace certification memorandums.Develop and deliver Government Verification Closure Packages (VCPs) for approval through Element Verification Review Board (VRB), Provide Analysis to support Increment Objective Evidence entrance/exit criteria.Lead and coordinate engineering activities.Perform engineering activities necessary for data analysis to codify body of evidence for mission critical facilities, infrastructure and support equipment.Perform as needed briefings to inform collaborative and Integrated system engineering teams, Joint Service Enabling Programs, Host Installations, Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) systems supporting Defense of Guam and future Agency activities.Assess quality, technical safeguards, and mission assurance effectiveness for MDS critical infrastructures, control system (CS) operations, select sensors, weapon systems and C2BMC systems.What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Masters Degree in STEM field and 12+ years experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program / project.

Secret clearanceExperience leading a Systems Engineering team.Experience with the IBM DOORS tool to include administrative requirements, use of partitions and development or requirements traces.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:Experience with the MDA Engineering Board process.

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $120,800.00 - $217,400.00
