We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sustaining R&D Engineer to join our dynamic team in the medical device industry. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the lifecycle of existing products, driving continuous improvement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating cross-functionally to maintain product quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:Lead and support engineering activities related to sustaining and improving existing medical device products.Investigate and resolve product issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints.Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams to implement design changes and process improvements.Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Maintain and update design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and risk management files.Support regulatory submissions and audits by providing technical documentation and justifications.Evaluate and qualify alternate materials, components, and suppliers.Ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820).
