Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:
• Own and deliver medium-sized quality engineering tasks while mentoring and helping team members
• Make technology choices at individual level and analyse impact
• Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
• Integrate project testing with continuous-integration process
• Work with fellow team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions
• Provide expertise in the quality engineering, test planning and testing methodology for a software project
• Develop and executes maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases

Required Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience. Able to legally work in Mexico. This position can work remotely within Mexico.Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.Automation Framework Development: Hands-on experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks (e.g., Katalon, Selenium, Playwright - is a plus).Programming Languages: Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript.API Testing: Strong understanding and experience with API testing tools like Postman, Katalon.CI/CD Integration: Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).Version Control: Good understanding of Git/GitHub or equivalent systems.

Testing Knowledge:

Strong foundation in software testing principles (functional, regression, smoke, sanity).Experience in writing detailed test cases and test plans.Familiarity with BDD (e.g., Cucumber, Gherkin) is a plus.

Tools & Platforms:

Experience with test management tools (e.g., QTest).Familiarity with cross-browser testing tools (e.g., Chrome, firefox and MS Edge) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication and collaboration abilities.Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
