Shift: 2nd Shift - 4:00pm – 12:00pm (Mon – Fri)
Shift Differential: +10%

A Day in the Life:
Perform fit-for-purpose testing, following operating procedures, in support of manufacturing including in-line and finished product release testing using various analytical techniques.Perform daily calibrations for equipment and perform standardization of reagents.Perform sampling, managing retentions, reagents and standards. The position requires the ability to handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.Create and receive requisitions/purchase orders.Receive, label, and store chemicals, reagents, and lab supplies.Coordinate External lab testing by preparing samples and following the submission process.Apply your knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Processes focusing on supporting continuous improvement activities.Maintain general lab housekeeping.Additional Tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.How will you get here?
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree Preferred) and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year (2 years preferred) of industry or other relevant market experience, preferably in chemistry or bio/pharmaceutical industry.
• Hands-on experience with wet chemistry and basic Analytical instruments is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
• Familiarity with Analytical test methods including ACS, USP/NF, EP/BP, JP, FCC preferred.
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) with attention to detail, including problem-solving
Hands-on experience using Excel, Word & Outlook. Familiarity with Access and database.
• Engage in process improvement initiatives to identify cost savings to the business.
