Job Title: Sr. Project Nuclear Manager
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Type: Direct Hire with full benefits package
Compensation: $150000 - $190000 per year and annual bonus.
Contractor Work Model: Onsite System one is seeking a Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, this role is responsible for defining project objectives, creating project schedules and overseeing the budget throughout the entire project.
The role is focused on managing projects for the existing fleet that are a mix of electrical and mechanical in nature. They are typically large projects of value greater than $300K and have a duration of 6 months or more. We are seeking someone who has prior PM experience, with PMP preferred and that is willing to set into an individual contributor role while working with many departments within the organization and vendors externally. Must be great with customers and know how to manage relationships and communications in the appropriate way to meet the audience. Travel for this role is minimal.
Responsibilities
+ Review the client’s contract and go through order acceptance, document approvals, project date changes, order completion, shipment notification, communication plan (for large projects)
+ Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
+ Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project
+ Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
+ Review the project schedule with management and customers (as required)
+ Monitor progress of the project against project milestones and notify management if there is a deviance from the plan
+ Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
+ Create and submit Production Orders (JOFs) - locate and attach CGD, TIR, or other work guides
+ Create and submit Travelers - Locate and attach drawings, Specs, TIR, FATP
+ Update project schedules in Hippo - develop based on TML, update based on project activities
+ Create and submit spreadsheets for vendor POs
+ Prepare paperwork for completion/invoicing
+ Provide client updates as requested; host monthly client project reviews
+ Participate in GEMBA and Project Review Meetings
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of project management experience preferred 10 years experience in new nuclear is accepted in lieu of education.
+ PMP designation a plus
+ Experience working within a Quality program is a plus
+ Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project)
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
+ Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, competing priorities and tight deadlines simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy
+ Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and accuracy
