Sr. Project Engineer
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Play a critical role in DCS engineering project and assist project manager / lead engineer to effectively implement DCS software / hardware + Be able to take leading role in some independent task by well managing the relationship with project team, vendor, customer, etc. + Be a technical expert in certain work-related areas (e.g. DeltaV product, networking technology, industry) + Monitor and control the responsible project cost to improve the project gross margin or at least to maintain it as the booked value. + Achieve customer satisfaction on the responsible project implementation. + Deliver the contract commitments for the responsible projects. + Familiar with Interpersonal Relation/Collaboration within the team members, support team leader to Build Effective Teams. + Familiar with the certain industry or domain; Participate the team operation and project execution aspects through personal Communication and Teamwork/Collaboration. + With Service Orientated, Grasp Job Knowledge & Skill to accomplish each task in project execution; good ability to handle challenges. + Participate project execution based on definition of EPM project Roles and Responsibilities in Emerson PMO PM-PMP-ST with awareness of Result Oriented and analyzing issues by Shows Vision & Thinks Strategically skill. + Responsible for quality procedures such as configuration management. + Comply with good behavior and performance of project execution to achieve operational excellence goals and objectives (like continuous improvement, procedure optimization etc.,) dynamically. + Coordinate with Lead Engineer/Project Manager and Emerson Xi’an Engineering Center Team Leader or above to strive to achieve EPM and Emerson Xi’an Engineering Center’s vision, mission, and strategy (like productivity in PERFECT EXECUTION etc.) **Who You Are:** You gain insight into customer needs. You build collaboration allowing others across the organization to achieve shared objectives! **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Bachelor’s degree or above, major in automatic control, electrical engineering or computer science + Instrumentation and automatic control, over 8 years work experience; working experience in Refining, Chemical, Life Sciences, Oil & Gas, Marine, and related industry is preferred **Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:** + Willing to Long-term travel (sometimes because of an emergency, and need to temporary notice) + Excellent networking and/or SQL database/Java script skills are preferred. + Excellent computer literate, fluent in oral and written English skills. + Excellent Get Result/Accountability, Analyzes Issue, and Service Orientated + Familiar with Teamwork/Collaboration and Communication + Handling Challenges with strong Quality Commitment awareness + Good Leadership, and People Empowerment/Motivation + Understanding/acceptance BUs’ Vision, Mission, Strategy; and applying into daily work **Our Culture & Commitment to You:** At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
