Job Title: Program Manager, Pharmacy Operations (L6)
About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our rapidly growing Pharmacy team. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, scaling our pharmacy network, and implementing innovative solutions that enhance customer experience across Amazon's pharmacy business.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field
7+ years of experience in program management, operations management, or related field
Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making capability
Excellence in stakeholder management and cross-functional team leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
Healthcare/Pharmaceutical industry experience
PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials
Experience in e-commerce or retail operations
Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
Knowledge of regulatory requirements in pharmaceutical supply chain
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence:
Lead and optimize daily order processing operations with third-party pharmaceutical sellers
Manage and scale a network of Pharmacy Fulfillment Centers serving 19,000+ PIN codes
Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for internal teams and external partners
Monitor key performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Strategic Leadership:
Partner with Product, Tech, Category, and Logistics teams to drive operational efficiency
Identify and execute high-impact projects to generate new revenue streams
Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize cost structure and improve customer experience
Design and implement scalable solutions for pharmacy operations
Program Management:
Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and documentation
Conduct regular business reviews and prepare executive-level presentations
Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies
Drive data-driven decision making through analytics and reporting
Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams
Collaborate with external partners and vendors
Communicate project status and escalations to senior leadership
Mentor and guide junior team members
