Our Delivery Service Partner (DSP) program is crucial to achieving this goal by ensuring reliable, high-quality delivery capacity. We're seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our DSP Profitability team, driving strategic initiatives that enhance both DSP profitability and Amazon's cost efficiency.
What We Do:
The DSP Profitability team serves as a center of excellence, operating at the intersection of all DSP-related functions. We:
• Drive sustainable DSP profitability while reducing Amazon's cost per package
• Manage 24+ profit levers across tactical, structural, and strategic initiatives
• Develop and implement mechanisms to track program effectiveness
• Partner with multiple stakeholders including Operations, Fleet, Finance, and Product teams
• Conduct quarterly financial reviews and ongoing performance analysis
• Lead strategic cost reduction initiatives across fleet, labor, and operational dimensions
Key job responsibilities
1. Program Management
• Own end-to-end profitability initiatives from ideation to implementation
• Develop and maintain program mechanisms to track implementation effectiveness
• Lead quarterly financial reviews and substantiation processes
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive cost optimization initiatives
2. Analytics & Strategy
• Conduct comprehensive data analysis combining financial metrics with operational performance
• Develop predictive analytics models for 12-36 month profit forecasting
• Identify and quantify cost reduction opportunities
• Create and maintain profitability dashboards and reporting mechanisms
3. Stakeholder Management
• Partner with multiple teams including Operations, Fleet, Finance, and Product
• Present to senior leadership on program updates and strategic initiatives
• Drive alignment across various stakeholder groups
• Manage relationships with DSP partners
About the team
• Morning: Review daily performance metrics, attend operational meetings, analyze profitability trends
• Mid-day: Lead program reviews, collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop strategic initiatives
• Afternoon: Create executive presentations, conduct financial analysis, manage stakeholder relationships
• Regular activities include: Quarterly business reviews, financial analysis, stakeholder management, process improvement initiatives, and strategic planning sessions
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
