Sr. Production Support Analyst
Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto office (250 Yonge Street) at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time. 
 

Your future duties and responsibilities:

.    Key operating platform – UNIX, Linux
.    Overall 7+ years of experience and min 3 years in production support capacity Deployment of Java applications –Springboot/Tomcat
.    Scripting tools – Kshell, Pearl
.    Database administration experience: Oracle primarily, PostgeSql secondarily
.    Desired technical skills:
.    Application servers, such as Tomcat Application Server
.    Agile methodology
.    Open to work in a shift and on call rotation to provide 7x24 client support
 

Certifications and diplomas:
.    Education in Information Technology and Business
.    Establishing and maintaining effective client relationships
.    Good knowledge of Portfolio Management, Mutual Funds, GICs, Registered and Non Registered products such as RRSP, RRIF, TFSA
.    Excellent verbal and written communications skills
.    Ability to quickly adapt to new technology or concepts
.    Ability to work in a team
.    Ability to work under pressure
.    Apply enthusiasm, drive and initiative to deliver superior service
.    Ability to multitask and work in a multi-vendor environment 
.    Good problem-solving skills; capable of making disciplined decisions in a timely fashion
.    Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

*CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000–$145,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
