The Product Owner, Senior is a key role in driving technology transformation and advances Lineage’s vision of being the most dynamic temperature-controlled logistics company that eliminates waste and helps feed the world.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPrioritizes the needs / incoming requests of stakeholders while considering value, scope, budget, resources, dependencies, and timeCommunicates expectations and gains buy in from stakeholdersTranslates business problems into technical problems to give clear instructions for developersAnticipates the needs of key stakeholders by maintaining a deep understanding of what they do and wantOwns/manages the product or platform roadmap. Contributes to the product vision.Defines the product vision and objectives (clear OKR’s) that align with business goals and objectivesCommunicates the success of the product using measurable OKR’s/KPI’s to tell the storyCoordinates with other product managers to align roadmapsWorks with engineers and architects to define a solution for stakeholder and data-driven initiativesCreates, updates, and removes epics and/or user stories in the product backlogCollaborates with engineers to estimate/size each user storyDefines and clearly articulates problem statements and acceptance criteria (business requirements) for each Epic and User StoryADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMaps dependencies between epics and storiesPrioritizes user stories to deliver the highest value each sprint and ensure that OKR’s and deliverable timelines are metDefines the vision and objectives with metrics for each sprintParticipates in sprint ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectivesCollaborates with engineers to answer questions and make connections, while clearly explaining the purpose, problem statement and requirementsReviews and signs off on completed user stories and epicsRemoves blockers for developer teamsPlans functional demos with stakeholders as neededApproves transition to build, test, and release phases within the product lifecycleDocument the product's evolutionCreate communications to stakeholders about product releasesCreate and maintain product documentation with additions, amendments, and removals of functionalityMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)Bachelor’s (BA or BS) in business, computer science, or related field; MS or MBA preferredFive years previous experience as a product owner or senior business analyst; alternatively, an MBA with a concentration in data-driven decision making or product managementExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization and deliver results to a non-technical audienceIn-depth understanding of Agile methodologies, technical understanding of products and up to date on industry standards and best practicesProficient with SQLAble to build strong interpersonal relationships with business analysts, UI/UX team, leadership, senior management and internal and external stakeholdersClose attention to detail and the ability to work to a high standardAbility to think strategically with supporting analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with ambiguityExcellent organizational skills and ability to function in a fast paced, highly visible and fast-changing high growth environment Knowledge of advanced data modelling and analytics preferredExperience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Trello) preferredLogistics or Supply Chain experience preferred
