**What You Can Expect**
The **Senior Product Manager of Hallux Valgus and Forefoot** is responsible for all aspects of the product lifecycle for their assigned portfolio, providing expert product knowledge and tactical support both domestically and internationally. This role plays a key part in the development and execution of current and future **foot and ankle solutions** , with a strong emphasis on **minimally invasive surgical technologies** —including bunion correction and related applications—as well as a deep understanding of the **Lapidus procedure** . The Senior Product Manager will also have substantial ownership for various foot and ankle solutions currently in development or planned for future development. This is an individual contributor role but may assist in mentoring Associate Product Managers.
**How You'll Create Impact**
+ Lead global product launch planning, including business objectives, product positioning, and key selling messages (including economic messages) for assigned products.
+ Build a network of Sales Reps/Regional Managers/and customers that can be leveraged for project feedback.
+ Determine the market entry strategy for product ideas which may include acquisition, licensing, supply agreements, product development and work partners to bring these ideas to market.
+ Collaborate with internal and external resources to determine future product development projects in order to maintain growth in alignment with overall corporate objectives
+ Analyze and appraise the effectiveness of marketing promotions including costs and results.
+ Develop and implement strategic and annual marketing plans to include short term, mid-term, and long-term goals and objectives for the respective product family. This includes situational analysis of products, revenue forecasts, competitive analysis, and identification of key opportunities and threats.
+ Lead field marketing efforts tied directly to product goals assigned by VP of Downstream Marketing
+ Utilize primary and secondary market research reports to analyze, and evaluate key data about the marketplace, including areas such as market size, growth movement, and competition
+ Develop and execute the marketing strategy including evaluation of the performance of current product offerings versus expectations, call points, market trends, and competitive landscape.
+ Data gathering on company customers as to how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on the competition and how to ethically and professionally win their business
+ Work as a member of cross functional team including Development Engineering, Quality and Process Engineering, Clinical studies, and Marketing from initiation to launch and downstream promotion of the product.
+ Point of contact for trade shows, conferences and/or courses.
+ Coordinate with internal and external resources as required to execute product promotional efforts, live surgeries, workshops or other activities associated with the event
+ Develop and maintain all marketing collateral materials, including but not limited to, surgical techniques and brochures, sales training materials, physician training materials, video production, product samples and demos, etc.
+ Develop product marketing bulletins on new and current products. Provide regular communication to sales team on market released products. Communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools to support the selling process of products.
+ Travel to meet with and educate customers and sales team, attend and coordinate trade show presence for associated products, attend training programs, coordinate surgeon meetings, and other related travel as determined by the company.
+ Prepare long range, annual, quarterly, and monthly forecasts for each assigned product line. Analyze forecast variances and recommend corrective actions.
+ Answer technical calls regarding Paragon 28s products, both during and outside of regular business hours.

**Your Background**
+ Bachelor’s degree in marketing, biology, business administration, or related field required plus 5+ years of experience in a sales or classical marketing function; may consider commensurate combination of education and experience
+ Must have advanced understanding and experience in assigned products as a sales representative or marketing specialists
+ Demonstrated excellence in the development and execution of marketing and launch plans
+ Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain hospital credentialing
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross functionally with limited supervision
+ Excellent planning, organization and analytical skills
+ Demonstrated clinical and technical aptitude
+ Demonstrated experience in building strong partnerships between cross functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Clinical, R&D, Operations and/or other key functional stakeholders to deliver business objectives
+ High-paced growth environment; need to be comfortable handling many different tasks within the marketing organization
+ Fluent in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
+ Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a clear driving record
+ This position is preferably based in Colorado; however, remote arrangements may be considered for highly qualified candidates. Please note that remote work may require a higher percentage of travel.

**This job is based in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and copy machines.**

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with individuals internal and external to the organization. The employee frequently is required to move about the facility. The employee may be required to lift up-to 40 lbs. by themselves.
Employee must also have the ability to wear a 7-9-pound protective lead apron for extended periods of time in the operating room. The position also requires sitting, standing and/or walking for up to eight plus hours per day; frequent bending/stooping, squatting and balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus in relation to travel and operating a personal computer.
**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work**
This is a full-time position requiring occasional weekend and evening work for training sessions and technical calls.
**Travel Expectations**
30-40% overnight travel. Please note: This position is preferably based in Colorado; however, remote arrangements may be considered for highly qualified candidates. Please note that remote work may require a higher percentage of travel.
