Sr. Product Manager
Job Summary:

As the Mobile Device Sr Product Manager on the Device Engineering team, you'll contribute to the strategic direction of digital and technology programs, solving a range of problems with moderate guidance. You will be responsible for facilitating the management of mobile hardware devices including acquisition, deployment, and ongoing tracking. You will work with a range of business partners to oversee a device requests and services in a timely manner. As a central point of contact for the team, you will coordinate activities including request fulfillment, procurement, leasing, lease refreshes, formulation of device budgets, and vendor payments.  This is a highly collaborative role where partnership with peer technical teams, business partners, operations representatives, and vendors are crucial.  Your ability to work independently, provide informal guidance to new team members, and explain complex information will be key to your success in enhancing guest experiences and driving business opportunities. 

Responsibilities:

Drive the implementation of digital and technology Mobile Device roadmaps, ensuring development teams and business partners understand product goals and priorities. 

Apply expertise in mobile device Product Management to plan and facilitate the delivery of cost-effective and technically appropriate solutions ensuring adherence to the strategic vision 

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to gather requirements for small to large-sized mobile device projects. 

Serve as primary representative for product management in day-to-day activities related to Mobile Device product rollouts.   Drive priority decisions and remove roadblocks. 

Facilitating scope definition, discovery, and estimation activities within diverse team of business and technology stakeholders. 

Translate mobile device product concepts into user stories, epics, and other deliverables 

Facilitate the project schedule to coincide with mobile device lease expiration. 

Communicate effectively with partners across various levels within the organization  

Manage lease lifecycles for US Parks and Disney Cruise Line mobile devices. Work with financial vendors and the Disney internal finance organization to ensure payment terms are met. 

Manage the ongoing refresh of mobile devices by coordinating with internal partners to determine needs and external partners to determine availability.  

Ensure that required service levels are met.  Support defect triage activities by identifying causes and resolutions. 

Create and present high-level plans with financial estimates to stakeholders.   

Manage feature development and defect backlog to align with strategic direction 

Use metrics to drive performance, efficiency and forecast improvements. 

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Product Management with a focus on technically complex work efforts. 

Highly detailed and solutions-oriented mindset. 

Ability to think strategically and drive ideas into action. 

Exceptional verbal and written communication including an ability to communicate effectively at an executive level. 

Excellent collaboration skills. 

Practical experience in project planning, Agile project management techniques, estimation, project planning, resource planning, issue management, risk management, change management, and communication planning. 

Demonstrated proficiency using and managing project management tools, including Atlassian Suite of tools, advanced functions in Excel, and in-depth knowledge of Smartsheet. 

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
