The Job:  

As a Sr. Product Manager, you’ll be part of our Stanley Engineered Fastening, Industrial team for the Nelson Stud Welding business, working as a Hybrid employee. This position will be in office at our Elyria, OH location at least 3 days a week with 20-30% travel required. The Sr. Product Manager is responsible for driving global coordination & collaboration of the Nelson product line to ensure portfolio health. You’ll get to:  

Product Portfolio: Develop and execute strategies to drive Nelson Product Portfolio Growth Globally.  Success will be measured by driving Product Line Revenue and Margin growth.Ensuring the lifecycle of product portfolio.Communicating value of Equipment and Fasteners across verticals to drive Product Line growth.Innovation/NPI:. Working closely with the Commercial and Engineering teams to identify market and customer needs.  Develop new products to meet these needs, increase market share, driving revenue and margin.Develop business cases, product/equipment specifications and go to market strategies.Communicate and collaborate technical requirements for new products with Engineering.Coordinate with and prioritize NPI projects with Nelson and Tucker Engineering teams.Develop Product Roadmaps to drive cross functional communication on new products (NPI).Product Training/Marketing: Coordinate and collaborate with Marketing team to ensure features and benefits of new products are widely known by our commercial team using direct and on-line collateral.People Leadership:Lead and manage the PM team, located in the different regions, ensuring cross functional collaboration and talent development of team

BS Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience.  Master’s degree is a plusMinimum 10 years of Sales and/or Product Management and/or R&D experience in the Industrial or Automotive industryStrong communication and presentation skillsSolid analytical, problem-solving skills and attention detail required.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Excellent strategic planning and strategic thinking skills. Strong leadership skills: capable of developing teams and talents Global Mindset, intercultural awareness - comfortable & effective working across regionsDemonstrated knowledge business acumen in key areas: sales, gross margin, OI, etc., including strong financial/budget management skills. Influencing Skills – Interaction with Interface DepartmentsHas ability to manage many simultaneous projects across global teamsStrong written and oral communication skillsAbility to effectively navigate and lead change management20% to 30% International / Domestic Travel Required
