Sr. Procurement Specialist
We are looking for a procurement professional to join one of the largest tech companies in the nation!Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to lead and manage sourcing strategies within defined categories. This role involves significant interaction with senior stakeholders and requires strong expertise in procurement and contract management. The position offers remote work flexibility and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team focused on supplier relationship management.

ResponsibilitiesEngage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and define and implement category strategy plans for sourcing goods and services.Maintain detailed knowledge of business drivers and understand how they influence business strategies.Act as a subject matter expert on procurement policies, processes, and best practices.Manage key sourcing activities for business projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and appropriate risk management.Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key existing strategic suppliers and identify potential new partners.Monitor compliance with the business' sourcing processes, acting as an internal consultant for each stage of the process.Develop category or sub-category strategy plans and sourcing pipelines.Essential SkillsStrong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.Understanding of procurement and sourcing techniques and supply chain management.Experience in procurement or purchasing.Proficiency in Advanced Excel for data reporting and analysis (minimum 8 years).Experience with running or pulling queries, including SQL (minimum 5 years).Strong document writing skills for creating cohesive narratives (minimum 5 years).Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.10+ years of experience in procurement or related areas.Work Environment

This is a fully remote position, requiring the candidate to provide their own equipment, such as a laptop, headset, and mouse. The role involves a 40-hour work week from Monday to Friday, with no overtime expected. The work environment is collaborative, with a balanced focus on meetings and project work.

This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $53.00 - $57.00/hr.
