The Sr. Procurement Projects & Strategy Support offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of global procurement transformation. As part of the Global Procurement Strategy and Reporting function, the position plays a pivotal role in shaping strategic initiatives through advanced data analysis, systems management, and cross-functional collaboration. By delivering expert insights, leading complex projects, and ensuring data integrity, this role directly supports our mission to drive procurement excellence across global, regional, and local teams. It sets standards, influences strategic decisions, and enables smarter, data-driven procurement operations that align with our broader business goals. The successful candidate will gain exposure to high-impact global projects, lead strategic initiatives, and work closely with diverse stakeholders. They will develop deep expertise in procurement systems and strategy, enhance their leadership capabilities, and contribute meaningfully to a global transformation agenda.
Position Responsibilities:
+ **Data Management** : Understand and manage data sources; reconcile and mitigate cross-system discrepancies; troubleshoot reporting environments and ensure data quality across platforms.
+ **Analytics & Modeling** : Translate user requirements into analytical strategies; identify data sources; develop metrics, methodologies, and financial models to support strategic analysis and decision-making.
+ **Management Reporting** : Design and deliver digitized reports and dashboards that support decision-making; extract key insights from data and communicate findings effectively; train end-users on new tools and reports.
+ **Strategic Insight** : Formulate actionable recommendations based on data analysis; propose alternatives when challenges / issues arise; identify and explore opportunities for continuous improvement.
+ **Project Leadership** : Lead medium to large-scale projects or workstreams with moderate complexity, coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders; ensure alignment with business plans and procurement strategies.
+ **Expert Advisory** : Acts as a go-to resource for colleagues, offering expert advice and guidance in areas of specialization with a high degree of authority.
+ **Governance & Controls** : Develop, manage, and execute controls and processes aligned with procurement policies; ensure compliance with data governance and risk mitigation standards.
+ **Communication & Collaboration** : Clearly articulate business needs and project outcomes; present findings, facilitate ideas, and influence different perspectives to stakeholders in both technical and non-technical terms; foster collaboration across functions and geographies.
Required Qualifications:
+ Graduate of bachelor’s degree or above with at least 5 years of procurement, supply chain, or related working experience
+ Language skills: fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) is a must
+ Analytic skills: has an extensive background in business modeling and/or management reporting that involves senior leadership – emphasize higher level of background or experience
+ Tools: proven competence in advanced Excel functions (macros and scripts) and other Microsoft applications (e.g. Word, PPT, Visio, and Outlook)
+ Governance concepts: thorough understanding of data governance and control concept (e.g. risk mitigation concepts, access right control)
Preferred Qualifications:
+ 1-3 years of business modeling and management reporting background
+ Technical skills: has a background / familiarity of common querying languages (e.g. SQL) and visualization tools, especially PowerBI (or other tools like QlikView and Tableau as an alternative); demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases – translating to meaningful analysis
