The Raytheon Supply Chain team has great opportunities for a Senior Procurement Manager in a highly collaborative role where you will have the opportunity to lead an Electronics Distribution Procurement team in the sourcing and acquisition of materials, manage supplier performance and the entire purchase order life cycle (requirements including solicitations, Purchase Order award, post-award management, and closeout activities) for DoD, FMS, and DCS customers.  You will manage several supplier relationships necessary to support numerous programs across all Strategic Business Units for the factory material needs.

What you Will Do:

Lead a high-performing procurement team of Buyers in the preparation and issuance of RFP’s, placing purchase orders of Low/medium complexity and medium/high volume transactions in accordance with all regulatory and corporate compliance requirements for Firm Fixed contracts.Manage a supporting team of Commodity Performance Leads (CPLs) responsible for the overall performance, relationship, and health of suppliers through the management of Raytheon business strategy, coordinating of a cross-functional team and utilization of a supplier performance development process. This group partners with the distribution team buyers to align priorities to support program demands.Build relationships, resolve conflicts, mitigate risks, avoid disputes, ensure smooth procurement operations, including compliance with regulatory requirements.Nurture professional business supplier relationships for continued performance improvements.Work closely with the Program and other functional groups (Operations, Quality, Engineering, Program Management, etc) to achieve customer objectives and create an effective partnering environment that includes credibility, respect, and trustEffectively manage metrics to analyze data to make informed decisions and ensure team maintains Purchase requisition and purchase order accuracy and timely supplier delivery information.  Ensure strict adherence to compliance regulationsWork independently with minimal oversight, provide timely updates on critical business issues, and display personal ownership and accountability to all facets of work performed 

Qualifications you Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experienceRelevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, management, finance, or similar leadership role.U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required. https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62"

Qualifications We Prefer:

Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate secure favorable terms with suppliersAnalytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing data to make informed procurement decisions and evaluate supplier performance. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with suppliers and stakeholders. Supplier Relationship Management: Skills in building and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and reliability. Project Management: Ability to manage procurement projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring. Financial Acumen: Understanding of budgeting, cost analysis, and financial principles to optimize procurement costs. Ethical Conduct: Commitment to ethical procurement practices and compliance with regulations. Proficiency in tools and systems including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP

Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
