Sr. Process Engineer, AWS Manufacturing and Repair
AWS Manufacturing & Repair operations is focused on automated assembly solutions where innovative solutions are needed to accelerate overall manufacturing time, working backwards from customers to increase critical capacity for AWS services by improving yield and reliability while reducing cycle time. This new highly cross-functional initiative brings together critical expertise from a wide-range of Amazon teams dedicated to meeting and exceeding customer expectations through innovative validation processes and Amazon operational excellence.

We are seeking a Sr. Process Engineer to own the operational workflow and design for a new manufacturing and repair program dedicated to innovating material movement workflow in and around automated assembly processes. In this role, you will design and implement end-to-end material flow strategies, develop operational processes from concept through execution, and establish the foundational workflows that enable efficient manufacturing and repair operations at scale. You will work in an ambiguous environment where the business problem is known, but the technical strategy and operational framework must be developed from the ground up. You will investigate and develop strategies and concepts to frame solution sets that optimize material handling, minimize bottlenecks, and integrate seamlessly with automated assembly systems. Your work will directly impact the efficiency, quality, and scalability of AWS's manufacturing and repair operations for business-critical platforms.

AWS Manufacturing & Repair is a part of the broader AWS Infrastructure Services team which owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We are the teams who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we're looking for talented people who want to help. You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

Come join our team and be a part of history as we deliver results for the largest cloud services company on Earth!
