Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. **Work location will be on-site at the Raytheon Tucson office.** We are currently hiring a Senior Principle Mechanical Engineer to join the Advanced Airframes Department of the Hardware Engineering organization located in Tucson, AZ. This position is to support the Specter product line as a All Up Round (AUR) Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL). Fulfillment of this job requisition is contingent on program contract award. **What You Will Do** + You will be responsible for providing leadership for all AUR Non-Recurring and Recurring tasks to ensure delivery of the system per program plan. + You will lead a team to design, integrate, and test AUR hardware using computer-aided design, analyses, and consistent coordination and communication across teams to ensure successful hardware performance. + Responsibilities will also include management of AUR suppliers in both technical and cost/schedule parameters. The role requires execution expertise coupled with the ability to lead a high visibility development program. The AUR IPTL role requires proactive and effective collaboration and communication across the program, with members of the Chief Technologist Pyramids and technical subject matter experts, with the Program Management Office, and with the appropriate Customer stakeholders. + Cost and schedule responsibilities for the IPT and sub-tier suppliers. Report business metrics to both the program and functional leadership including Estimates At Complete (EAC) + Provide the technical execution leadership required to design, develop, integrate & test, verify, qualify and deliver a AUR that complies with performance requirements and Design to Cost targets. + Provide mentoring and guidance to all team members. + Extensive experience in task leadership and AUR design. **What You Will Learn** + Communicate both to the Raytheon leadership and the customer community to provide program status, accomplishments, issues, and help needed. + Work under limited supervision and act as the responsible engineer often in a project management role over entire subsystems within an effort. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
