Position Overview:The Sr. Pricing & Promotions Specialist is responsible for execution of promotional strategy for maurices, in additional to ownership of another key promotional process/task.
Key Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Functions:
Owns execution of all promotional offers in promotional system (XCC) including event creation and testing via the following:
Understands the functions of the promotional system (XCC)Understands the merchandise product hierarchy to ensure correction execution of promotional inclusion and exclusion needsEnsures all relevant information is gathered from cross functional partners (including Planning, Marketing, Visual)Identifies and escalates any promotional issues during set up & testing, including cross functional collaboration for resolutionAttends all key in-season promotional meetings and follows any promotional communication updates to accurately execute critical updates and ensure the promotional calendar is executed as intendedCollaborates with cross functional partners on any promotional issues that are discovered through IT ticket escalation process and ensure resolutionIdentifies and escalates any process pain pointsOwns a key promotional process/task, which could include one of the following:
Store sale direction: manages the creation and cross functional needs for accurate and timely sale direction creation and distributionPromotional Inclusion/Exclusion process: manages all aspects of the inclusions/exclusion files including creation, updates, and communication with cross functional partnersXCC system coordination: manages the communication with XCC support team for any issues or additional requests that ariseEducation/Skills and Experience Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferredExperience:
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a Pricing/Promotions or operations role requiredStrong demonstrated organizationPrior experience in a fast paced, dynamic environment preferredBasic experience with excelExperience setting up promotions in XCC comparable system is a plusSkills/Traits:
