The Program Manager - RBS Org Excellence is a strategic leadership role responsible for establishing RBS as the benchmark organization for business excellence and credibility at Amazon. This position drives comprehensive organizational transformation through systematic mechanisms and people experience improvement that amplify value, protect credibility, and foster innovation across Retail Business Services.
The role encompasses Org Excellence initiatives to eliminate RBS pain points, drive excellence through proactive defect identification, and implement early-warning safeguards. The position requires deep expertise in program management, organizational change management, and cross-functional leadership to deliver breakthrough performance while protecting RBS reputation and stakeholder trust.
Key job responsibilities
• Lead systematic mechanisms to establish RBS as the benchmark organization for Org excellence
• Expand RBS ACES framework/initiatives (Innovista/eCF SPARK, Idea Central, Lean Six Sigma) to eCF and WW Stores
• Lead Zero Touch Impact Measurement transformation ensuring all financial reporting is scientifically correct and aligned with downstream business/Finance
• Establish early-warning safeguards and data-driven prioritization frameworks
• Lead People Experience program through strategic pillars. Improve RBS overall Connections favorability score
• Proactively identify and solve RBS internal business challenges through systematic defect identification
• Drive organizational capability transformation through data-driven insights
A day in the life
• Review organizational excellence metrics, impact measurement dashboards, and program performance indicators across RBS
• Lead strategic planning sessions for ACES expansion (Innovista/eCF SPARK launch, Lean Six Sigma rollout)
• Meet with cross-functional partners (Finance, Operations, Technology, Business Units, eCF) to align on strategic excellence initiatives
• Conduct weekly business reviews with senior leadership presenting Org Excellence performance and benchmark metrics
• Drive People Experience initiatives
• Lead Zero Touch Impact Measurement transformation ensuring scientific accuracy in financial reporting
• Analyze workforce capacity planning data and optimize resource allocation
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of team management experience
- • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field
- • 10+ years of progressive program management experience in large-scale operations or technology organizations
- • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification
- • 7+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
- • Demonstrated experience in organizational excellence programs, quality management systems, and process improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen)
- • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, business impact analysis, and financial reporting
- • Proven track record in change management and organizational transformation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or advanced degree in Engineering/Operations
- • Proven experience leading innovation programs and employee engagement initiatives
- • Experience with business intelligence tools, data visualization, and automated reporting systems
- • Experience with GenAI applications in process automation and impact measurement
- • Track record of expanding organizational frameworks across multiple geographies
- • Experience in workforce capacity planning and resource optimization
