**Job Summary**
The Senior Power BI Analyst is responsible for delivering rapid, high-quality ad-hoc and exploratory reporting while maintaining and enhancing existing dashboards to support immediate business and account needs. This role partners closely with stakeholders to respond to urgent reporting requests, translate business questions into actionable insights, and ensure dashboards remain accurate, relevant, and easy to use. The analyst also identifies recurring requests and collaborates with the BI team to transition repeatable work into standardized, scalable reporting solutions.
**Responsibilities:**

+ Maintain and enhance dashboards
+ Support urgent account requests
+ Identify repeatable work for standardization
+ Escalate anything that becomes repeatable or high value
+ Develop Power BI datasets and semantic models
+ Build standardized dashboards and reports
+ Optimize SQL queries and data pipelines
+ Ensure performance, security, and scalability
+ Collaborate with business partners to define reporting requirements and build accurate data models.
+ Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that visualize KPIs, trends, and opportunities.
+ Perform data extraction, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
+ Integrate and analyze data from multiple sources to support decision-making.
+ Identify data quality gaps and implement process improvements.
+ Present findings and insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
+ Maintain and enhance existing BI products and automate reporting workflows.
**Qualifications:**
**Education:** Bachelor’s degree preferred.
**Experience:** 3 to 6 years in BI, data development experience.
+ Advanced expertise in Power BI, including DAX, semantic data modeling, and performance optimization, with strong SQL development skills (queries, views, stored procedures).
+ Strong analytical, mathematical, and reasoning skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and ensure accuracy and consistency across reports and dashboards.
+ Experience designing and supporting enterprise reporting and financial analytics solutions; experience in food service or related industries is a plus.
+ Proficiency in modern data transformation and modeling tools such as DBT, with solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, schema design, and ETL/ELT best practices.
+ Experience using version control and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub) and familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow or equivalents.
+ Familiarity with modern analytics platforms and cloud data environments, including Microsoft Fabric; experience with Azure SQL Managed Instance and/or Snowflake is a plus.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts and data insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
+ Proven ability to execute efficiently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate cross-functionally with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to deliver data solutions aligned to business objectives.
