Hiring a Sr. Buyer Role for a Start Up Drone Company in Hayward, CA!
Job Description:
Maintain accurate vendor and component data within ERP systems, including standard cost, lead time, MOQ, logistics lead time, payment terms, and related attributes.Manage end‑to‑end Purchase Order processes to support customer demand and revenue goals, including PO release, delivery commitments, receipts, discrepancy resolution, invoice approvals, and supplier corrective actions.Enhance ERP data integrity and expand system capabilities to support development of a world‑class MRP for in‑house manufacturing.Partner with internal stakeholders to implement supply chain strategies and provide critical delivery data for Clear‑to‑Build reporting.Analyze procurement data and generate reports on key metrics such as on‑time delivery, PO status, and vendor performance.Contribute to the development of planning metrics and reporting tools, including safety stock analysis, inventory health assessments, order policy reviews, and cash‑flow insights.Participate in cross‑functional initiatives and support continuous improvement efforts focused on cost, quality, delivery, and inventory management.
