Sr. People Services Specialist

Position Summary The Sr. People Services Specialist is responsible for executing employee lifecycle transactions and resolving Tier 2 HR inquiries across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of HR data, supports compliance with company policies and local labor regulations, and serves as a key point of contact for employees, managers, and Field HR. The Sr. Specialist also supports process documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives within the People Services team. Key Responsibilities HR Operations & Service Delivery Execute employee lifecycle transactions in HR systems (e.g., hires, terminations, job changes, leaves of absence). Ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal policies and local labor laws. Support mass data uploads, organizational changes, and HR data audits. Inquiry Management Respond to Tier 2 HR inquiries from employees and managers via case management tools. Resolve issues related to employee records, policy interpretation, and process exceptions. Escalate complex or unresolved cases to the People Services Expert or appropriate CoE. Collaboration & Stakeholder Support Partner with Field HR, Payroll, and other internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Support onboarding and training of new People Services team members. Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Compliance & Documentation Maintain accurate documentation of transactions and case resolutions. Support internal and external audits by providing timely and accurate data. Adhere to standard operating procedures and company policies. Process Improvement Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements. Contribute to the development and maintenance of SOPs and knowledge articles. Participate in system testing and implementation of process enhancements. Shape Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in HR operations or shared services, preferably supporting North America. Systems: Experience with Workday or other HRIS platforms; familiarity with case management tools such as ServiceNow or Workday Help is a plus. Languages: Fluency in English required; Spanish or French is a plus. Shape Key Competencies Strong understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle transactions.
