Shift Differential: +15%
Location: Rochester, NY
Compensation: $22.00/HR

A Day in the Life:

Responsibility for the daily distribution activities, productivity and quality within assigned department.Provide leadership and assistance with the daily operation of the department to meet all daily objectives.Assist employees with exceptions and problem resolution to ensure accuracy within the department.Coordinate with Supervisor to ensure that staffing levels are appropriate to meet department goals.Organize and direct workflow for the department when supervisor is unavailableProvide instructions about standard operating procedures, customer quality requirements, and help in resolving problems.Train temporary employees and new hires.Assist the supervisor in maintaining a safe, injury-free work environment.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related fieldPreferred: Experience in a cGMP environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detailDesire to work within a team, but also able to work independently and solve problems quicklyAbility to read and write in EnglishAbility to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbsAbility to stand for extended periods of time and move about the operations environment (involving walking, stooping, bending, and reaching) required

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $17.85–$23.80.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
